20-51 Christmas has been postponed

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from December 15th

Covid has postponed our Christmas celebrations, but we can still find some cheer and a way to connect with each other. This is sad, inconvenient but not the end of the world, it is saving others from it being their end of life.

We have to look at this Covid 19 virus as a invisible enemy, one that will take anyone no matter your riches poverty, sex, or age, although it does go after the elderly. This makes it more important for us to work together in bringing this virus to its knees and ridding of it for ever, but we can’t do that if we are still treating it as a hoax, a joke, a 5g conspiracy or a government attack.

IT IS A KILLER, SO DO NOT BE ITS WEAPON PLEASE.

This Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, where we normally come together we are just going to have to find ways of doing it differently this year. Our family has postponed our coming together until Jan 9th. We will each stay where we are and celebrate with our house bubble. We will set up a time to zoom and have some merriment, but be grateful for the fact with this caution, we live another day.

If you are on your own, find that bubble person you see often and get together respectfully, wash those hands, wear a mask, keep some distance between you and be there for each other.

Let us not forget those seniors who have nowhere to go and are on their own, a phone call, drop off a card/gift, let them know that you care and you see them.

If you are in an apt building, see if you can get some music playing through all floors for a while to cheer people up. Or carol singing from floor to floor, celebrating life and are value of life.

Naigbors, knock on their door, sing a carol, wish them some cheer, get out ito the street with bells and whisstles and cheer every one up.

Hospitals, again, out side the windows, play some merry music, not just for the patients but also the staff, nurses, Doctors who are there saving lives instead of being with their families.

This not a year to be ungrateful, but grateful that we can come together in other ways to wish everyone love, and joy to each other.

Be inventive, be respectful, I do not care if you think Covid is not real, just have some respect and value for those who know it is and do not become a murder this year because you wish to deny covids exitance.

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER GOING THROUGH THE SAME PANDEMIC, WHEN WE COME TOGETHER IN RESPECT OF LIFE AND HUMAN DIGNITY, WE WILL OVERCOME AND BEAT THIS THING.
