Relate is a South African not-for-profit social enterprise that was started by co-founder Lauren Gillis and that, through their infrastructure, creates beaded bracelets, which provides social investment opportunities to change lives.
The makers of their bracelets range from the elderly, who supplement their pensions, to refugees, to unemployed township youth, who all earn an income and are, where possible, upskilled to move beyond Relate.
Customers who ultimately buy and wear Relate bracelets, can connect to causes and to others who do, confident that their contributions are reaching those they are meant for.
